Who operates Still Me
Still Me is operated by María Helgadóttir, trading as NexoItec in Reykjavík, Iceland. For support, privacy requests or questions about this notice, email hello@nexoitec.com. This notice applies specifically to hellostillme.com.
Your account and payments
Google sign-in shares your account identifier, email address and basic profile information with our authentication provider, Supabase. We use them to sign you in and keep your word balance linked to your account. We store word usage, purchase identifiers and subscription status, not your blog posts, in Supabase. Creem processes purchases as merchant of record and handles payment and billing information. We do not receive your full card number.
Your writing and AI
When you choose Translate, your text, language, tone and optional writing-style notes pass through our Vercel server to OpenAI. We do not deliberately add your Google profile or email to that request. Personal information you put in your text is part of the request. The editor does not save your writing automatically, and we do not store a library of your texts or translations. Copy or download your work before leaving. We request that OpenAI not store the response as application state; separate provider retention and abuse-monitoring rules still apply.
Cookies, providers and purpose
Essential cookies maintain sign-in; browser storage remembers your language. We do not add advertising trackers. Vercel processes technical connection data to host and protect the service. Google, Supabase, OpenAI and Creem process data needed for their respective services; support email uses Apple iCloud Mail. Account, translation and payment processing is necessary to provide the service you request. Security and abuse prevention rely on legitimate interests; required accounting records rely on legal obligations. Signing in does not subscribe you to marketing.
Retention and international processing
Account and balance records are kept while needed to provide your account and paid words. Necessary transaction, support and security records may be retained for accounting, dispute resolution and abuse prevention. Providers may process data outside the EEA under their applicable transfer safeguards and retention arrangements. Contact us for details about the arrangements relevant to your data. We do not promise immediate deletion from every provider backup.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable by emailing hello@nexoitec.com. We may need to verify your identity. You may complain to Persónuvernd, the Icelandic Data Protection Authority, or your local supervisory authority. Google access can also be revoked in your Google account. Necessary data is required for sign-in, translation and purchases; without it those features cannot work. We do not sell your personal information. Material changes to this notice will be identified on this page.
